Lagoon view second floor villa, just a short walk to the beach

We absolutely loved our time in Kiawah. This units was the perfect size to give our kids their own room and privacy for us. It was an easy walk or bike to the beach and we loved being close to the Sanctuary for a morning coffee or pastry. The unit is well equipped and we loved the living room set up for nighttime movie time and breakfast on the porch was so peaceful!

This would’ve been an enjoyable place to stay however, there were raccoons in the ceiling and not until the last day of our 5 day trip did the rental company do something about it. When we left, there was still at least one left in the ceiling. I sent countless messages only to receive AI responses. I tried to call but got voicemail every time. I emailed directly to the rental company and never received a response. Otherwise, the property was clean, had beautiful surroundings, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. The bathrooms and carpet are definitely outdated, but overall, it was very nice. I just wish we wouldn’t have had to share the space with the raccoons— while super cute, they are very noisy at night and early morning when you are trying to sleep and they are scratching on the ceiling.
