Cottage w/ On-Site Golf, Shared Pool, & Beautiful Inlet Views - Near the Beach

Loved the place, the ease. Beautiful and the nicest cottage I have stayed in thus far.

Overall, this Airbnb was a nice experience, however, there were a few bumps in the road. At Check we learned the listing is on Kiawah Island but it is not part of the larger gated section of the Island. We also had some issue with the main door and needed to utilize the key throughout the week. To get to the gated section of the Island you need to make a reservation to be able to drive your vehicle on. We were able to do this and enjoyed several activities on the Island but this did take planning. We learned the easiest way to get around was on bikes which we ended up renting for the week. The scenery, bike trails, beach and amenities were amazing. Overall, the house was as described and very clean and well kept. There was also a minor issue with the main bathroom door staying closed. The Marsh behind the house was peaceful. And the pool and docks which are part of the community were also extremely nice. There is a photo of a park in the listing we were unable to find.

The place was fine enough, don't know that we would stay there again. Everyone should know it's a seasonal Pool and hot tub. They were impossible to reach even on their emergency phone when we had trouble checking in. The shower in the master bath is very bizarre and it took a day for me to be able to even get in touch with anybody. Bathrooms were dirty, kitchen was dirty. No basic Airbnb amenities such as salt or pepper, a Keurig but no extra Keurig pods, just that there's not a few basics. No tin foil, Etc bring everything you need if you're going to stay. Beds were comfortable sheets were clean.
